Setting the One Touch button

To specify combinations of document selection and outputs, you can edit the One Touch button to set the desired scanning shortcut.

A title, an icon, and button are displayed on each One Touch button. Items to be displayed will vary according to the size and settings of the panel. When the One Touch button is clicked, it will be in selected state. You can view up to 99 items in the panel and sort them using drag-and-drop.

Creating new One Touch button

To create a new One Touch button, use one of the following methods.

Method 1

  1. In the [One Touch Scan] area, click the [New One Touch button] button.

    A new One Touch button will be created.

  2. Click the button.

  3. Edit its contents as you like.

Method 2

  1. In the [Standard Scanning] area, select a document and output for scanning.

  2. Click the [Save to Shortcut] button.

    A One Touch button will be created with the contents you have selected.

Method 3

  1. Click of the [New One Touch button] button.

  2. From the resulting menu, select the type of One Touch button.

    A One Touch button will be created with the contents you have selected.

Editing the One Touch button

  1. Click the button in the One Touch button.

    The One Touch button editing dialog will be displayed.

  2. Set each item.

    -> Select document settings

    -> Setting the output

    -> Setting options

    -> Other settings

  • Right-clicking on the selected One Touch button displays the following menu.

    • Editing: displays the One Touch button editing dialog.

    • Copy: creates a copy of the panel.

    • Rename: changes the name of the panel.

    • Job assignment / Button assignment: assigns the contents set for the One Touch button to a job or the start button of the scanner.

    • Delete: deletes the panel.

  • When right-clicked on any other areas than panels, the following menu will appear.

    • New shortcut: creates a new panel.

    • Sort: sorts panels by name or by use frequency. You can select the sorting from the ascending or descending order.

    • Display: changes the panel size to Large, Medium or Small. By default, Medium is selected.
