Setting the Scanning Shortcut panel
To specify combinations of document selection and outputs, you can edit the Scanning Shortcut panel to set the desired scanning shortcut.
A title, an icon, and button are displayed on each Scanning Shortcut panel. Items to be displayed will vary according to the size and settings of the panel. When the Scanning Shortcut panel is clicked, it will be in selected state. You can view up to 99 items in the panel and sort them using drag-and-drop.
Creating new Scanning Shortcut panel
To create a new Scanning Shortcut panel, use one of the following methods.
Method 1

In the [Scanning Shortcut] area, click the [New shortcut] button.
A new Scanning Shortcut panel will be created.

Click the button.

Edit its contents as you like.
Method 2

In the [Standard Scanning] area, select a document and output for scanning.

Click the [Save to Shortcut] button.
A Scanning Shortcut panel will be created with the contents you have selected.
Method 3

Click of the [New shortcut] button.

From the resulting menu, select the type of Scanning Shortcut panel.
A Scanning Shortcut panel will be created with the contents you have selected.
Editing the Scanning Shortcut panel

Click the button in the Scanning Shortcut panel.
The Scanning Shortcut panel editing dialog will be displayed.

Set each item.

Right-clicking on the selected panel displays the following menu.

Editing: displays the Scanning Shortcut panel editing dialog.

Copy: creates a copy of the panel.

Rename: changes the name of the panel.

Job assignment / Button assignment: assigns the contents set for the Scanning Shortcut panel to a job or the start button of the scanner.

Delete: deletes the panel.

When right-clicked on any other areas than panels, the following menu will appear.

New shortcut: creates a new panel.

Sort: sorts panels by name or by use frequency. You can select the sorting from the ascending or descending order.

Display: changes the panel size to Large, Medium or Small. By default, Medium is selected.
